Very interesting. I've never even seen Peyote before.

Acid, eh? Nope, nevah hoid of it!

Since we Canadians are banned from watching the U.S. History Channel by our nanny-state government, I shall be forced to purchase the DVD. I hope it doresn't get confiscated by Canadian Customs.

good documentary

I saw this and it was really interesting regardless of these hallucinogenics effect on the 60's it's just an unbelievable story of science and mind exploration that goes back to very tribal cultures and how they gain spiritual awareness. If anyone gets that chance to purchase or see it on a re-broadcast I recommend it.
On the Dead front Weir is very good on it. He tells it like it was from his perspective. There is also some cool video of the Acid Tests that I am sure many have never seen before. Cool stuff and a worthwhile two hours. Check it out.

I'm doing better and just watched the re-run of this show. The guy playing Schultes reminds me of Trey Anastasio; - ) I just watched Bobby's part and the Acid Tests film (what a magical time that must have been). Also, I like the GD music in the background. Good job, Bob!
